This is Kindergarten!!!
Welcome to Ms. Jeanine's Digital Portfolio, an online classroom site where you can find important information about what we have been doing in Room 140, how you can help, and what is coming in our near future!
I am so excited to dive into our year and begin this new adventure with you! Kindergarten is full of laughter, explorations, discoveries, risk-taking, and building relationships.
We will be curious investigators who examine the world around us. We will be eager mathematicians who study patterns in numbers and nature. We will be excited readers and writers who desire to share stories and experiences with one another. And maybe most importantly, we will be compasionate collaborators, learning how to work together and help eachother.
In kindergarten, play is important! Young children's play allows them to explore new concepts, make connections, negotiate with others, take risks, and create meaning of their world. In our class, "play" is serious business!
I look forward to our fun-filled year of learning, growing, playing, and making memories together!
